Lauren Betts was born into basketball, spending her early years living in Spain while her father played basketball professionally around the country. At the age of eight, her family relocated to Colorado where she honed in her skills on the court to become Colorado Gatorade player of the year in 2020 and 2021 as well as the Women’s Basketball Association High School Player of the Year. She is a 2x gold medalist with USA basketball, also earning silver in the 2023 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup. Lauren spent her first year of collegiate basketball at Stanford before transferring to the UCLA Bruins women’s basketball program. Lauren is proud of the uniqueness that comes with her impressive height and is thankful for the impact it has had on her success on and off the court.
