Born and raised in Orange County, California, Emily McDaniel decided to keep her volleyball talents close to home playing for UC San Diego. Emily earned All-Big West honorable mention for the 2021 and 2023 seasons as well as making the 2021 Big West All-Freshman team. Off the court, Emily is an adventurer who enjoys traveling, hiking, scuba diving and trying new foods. Emily loves every inch of her height and is grateful for the opportunities and community being tall has brought to her life.
