Growing up in Greenbrae, California, Kari Geissberger excelled at volleyball early on. A high school standout, Kari earned numerous local and national honors before continuing to play collegiately at Loyola Marymount University. At Loyola Marymount, Kari earned AVCA All-American team honors, AVCA Pacific South Region team honors, 3x First-Team All-WCC, and All-WCC Freshman Team honors her first year. Kari finished her collegiate volleyball career at the University of Oklahoma where she earned All-SEC Second-Team honors. Kari plans to continue her volleyball career professionally this coming fall. Off the court, Kari enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing board games, movie nights, and spending time at the lake. Though it wasn’t easy growing up tall, Kari has learned to love her height and embrace the many advantages that come with standing out among the crowd. She’s confident in the boost it gives her presence on and off the court, and is thankful for the opportunities her unique stature has brought her.
